Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with BSN.
• Current RN license to practice.
• Professional CCDS certification is highly recommended within two years of hire.
• Five years direct clinical nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates accurate clinical documentation to support severity of illness and complexity of care.
• Review pre-bill stage issues to ensure correct DRG for billing.
• Collaborate with case managers, nursing staff, and analytics to resolve physician queries.
• Educate providers on documentation and coding guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of documentation requirements and CDMP processes.
