Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking an experienced RN with a BSN for a Clinical Documentation Improvement-focused role. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure complete, accurate documentation that supports correct coding and DRG assignments in an acute hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years bedside RN experience, ICU exposure, and strong communication skills to educate and drive documentation quality across departments.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of inpatient, acute care bedside nursing experience.
• Critical care/ICU nursing experience preferred.
• RN license active in Texas or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Concurrently review inpatient records to improve physician documentation quality.
• Interact with physicians and care team to modify documentation for complete records.
• Educate staff on compliance, coding, and clinical documentation issues.
• Support accurate DRG designation and hospital outcomes.
