Job summary
Hospice of the West is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with strong clinical knowledge to lead our team as Clinical Director. You will oversee an interdisciplinary group of RNs, Aides, Social Workers, and Chaplains, partnering with the Program Director and Hospice Physician to drive patient care excellence.
This role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and a clear path for internal growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
- Registered Nurse with a current state license to practice.
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience with hospice/home health/oncology.
- 1 year supervisory experience in hospice or home health care preferred.
- Experience managing terminal care, crisis intervention, and family counseling.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee patient services per hospice policies.
- Guide and support an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
- Conduct chart audits for regulatory and ethical compliance.
- Participate in orientation and in-service training for nursing staff.
- Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching to improve care.
- Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to refine Care Plans.
