Job summary

Summa Health Medical Group in Akron, OH seeks an RN Clinical Coordinator for the Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine Office. This full-time, dayshift role involves coordinating patient flow, scheduling, and pre-authorizations while delivering nursing care per established standards. Some travel to other Pulmonology & Sleep offices may be required but not frequent.

Required ADN with Ohio RN license; BSN preferred. Two years of clinical experience and possible specialty certification enhance candidacy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• 2 years of clinical experience.
• Current Ohio RN license.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical aspects: patient flow, orders, labs and imaging, patient education, scheduling and pre-authorizations.
• Ensures continuity of care by obtaining prior data and coordinating with the Practice Manager.
• Supervises clinical staff and supports day-to-day operations within the practice.
