Job summary

Lexington Medical Center seeks a Clinical Coordinator RN for the 7th Surgical East unit. This full-time PM shift (7pm-7am) role focuses on operational oversight, patient flow, and staff leadership within a busy surgical service.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN with at least 2 years of relevant experience, and must have active South Carolina RN licensure and relevant specialty certification or progress toward certification. A Sign-On Bonus of 25,000.00 is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: BSN
• Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years in specialty within past 5 years
• Substitutable Education & Experience: ADN or Diploma may apply if RN to BSN/MS program started with degree within 12 months
• Required Certifications/Licensure: National nursing certification in specialty at hire or within 6 months; Current SC RN license

Responsibilities

• Provides operational shift oversight and delegates care to staff.
• Promotes and restores patients' health via nursing process and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Maintains patient safety, confidentiality and ethical standards; supports process and performance improvement initiatives.
• Coordinates admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure timely patient flow.
