Job summary

Lexington Medical Center is seeking an RN Clinical Coordinator for the Intermediate ICU in West Columbia, SC. This full-time night-shift role (7pm–7:30am) oversees nursing operations, delegates care, and ensures efficient patient throughput and safe, high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN (or enrolled in RN-to-BSN/BSN completion) with at least 2 years of relevant ICU/nursing experience, SC RN licensure, and a current specialty certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Current SC RN license required.
• Option for ADN/Diploma holders enrolled in RN-to-BSN/RN-to-MS programs with degree completion within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational shift oversight and delegates care.
• Facilitates timely patient admission, transfer and discharge.
• Maintains patient safety and complies with nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Leads and mentors staff, supports quality and performance initiatives.
• Documents care accurately and promotes interdisciplinary collaboration.
