Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills and competency in leadership, supervision and management of staff.
• Collaborates in development and implementation of policies, systems and programs to guide assigned functions and responsibilities.
• Handles day-to-day operations such as payroll adjustments, schedule changes, and following up on patient complaints and quality reviews.
• Assists nursing manager with implementation of new programs, employee evaluations and disciplinary issues.
• Evaluates and documents patient response; monitors changes in physiological and psychosocial status; takes appropriate action based on assessment.
• Practices, develops and endorses customer service skills in relationships with internal and external customers.
• Demonstrates knowledge and application of the nursing process.

Responsibilities
