Job summary

Tenet Healthcare Corporation is seeking a Clinical Coordinator/Nurse leadership role at DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital. The Clinical Coordinator will lead nursing staff, coordinate care delivery, schedule staffing, and participate in process improvements under the direction of management.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and ensuring patient care quality in a hospital setting. A RN license in Michigan, BLS, and BSN preferred are required or encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree/Diploma required.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS required, ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as lead/resource for nursing personnel and supports clinical manager in staff meetings and development.
• Coordinate schedule to ensure adequate nurse-patient ratio and communicate staffing changes.
• Facilitate unit throughput to improve Length of Stay and coordinate in-service programs for staff competency.
• Assist with policy development and department process improvements.
• Support staff interviewing, retention, mentoring and evaluation as needed.
