Job summary

Tenet Healthcare at DMC Harper University Hospital in Detroit seeks a Clinical Coordinator to lead nursing staff, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate patient care with a focus on leadership and team collaboration.

The role supports staff development, process improvement, and adherence to clinical standards within a multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Administrative Director and Clinical Manager.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree/Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• 1–2 years of progressively more responsible leadership experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as lead and resource person for nursing personnel.
• Collaborates with manager to monitor staffing schedule and nurse-patient ratios.
• Facilitates throughput on shift to improve LOS.
• Coordinates in-service programs to maintain staff competencies.
• Assists with staff interviews, mentoring, and evaluation of staff.
