Job summary

Detroit Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Nurse Coordinator in Detroit, Michigan. The role combines staff leadership with clinical coordination to ensure high-quality patient care.

The position includes shift responsibilities for the care delivery team, assignment and scheduling of staff, and participation in process improvement. A BSN is preferred; Michigan RN licensure and BLS are required, ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree/Diploma required. BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of Michigan.
• 1–2 years of progressively responsible leadership experience.
• BLS required, ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and resource nurse staffing; supervise care delivery.
• Coordinate care by assigning staff and prioritizing patient needs.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to solve unit-based issues.
• Support staff education and performance development.
