Detroit Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Coordinator RN to support care delivery, supervision, and performance improvement at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. The role blends patient care leadership with unit operations to maintain safe staffing and high-quality outcomes.

You'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, coordinate schedules, and participate in policy development and staff education, while advancing your professional growth within a respected healthcare system.

Qualifications

• State of Michigan RN license required.
• 1–2 years of progressively responsible nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Associate’s Degree/Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and serve as a resource for nursing staff; assist clinical manager with staff meetings and development.
• Monitor staffing schedules to ensure adequate nurse-patient ratios; review monthly schedules and communicate changes.
• Facilitate shared decision-making to improve unit throughput and reduce length of stay.
• Coordinate and deliver in-service programs to maintain staff competence.
• Assist with interview, selection, retention, mentoring, and evaluation of staff.
• Participate in policy development, procedures, and department standards.
• Contribute to department process improvement and peer review.
