Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversees Admissions and Quarterly assessments of residents.
• Participates in the "at risk" and care planning meetings. Makes appropriate recommendations regarding resident care.
• Supports Occupational Health by administering Hepatitis B vaccine and PPD to employees. Coordinates with Occ Health as needed.
• Assists with direct patient care as necessary. Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
• Develops, implements and evaluates resident care plans. Makes rounds when coming on and consults with nursing management regarding resident issues or concerns.
• Oversees restorative nursing program and ensures therapy supplies are available as requested by Rehab department.
• Works with DON/Nurse Manager on onboarding, orientation, staffing and supervision of the nursing staff.
