Qualified candidates will hold a Texas nursing license, a BSN preferred, and BLS certification, with at least three years of specialized nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current State of Texas license to practice professional nursing.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Three years of nursing experience in the area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and directs activities to optimize patient throughput and outcomes.
• Coordinates with ancillary departments to ensure timely turn‑around times.
• Assigns daily tasks based on staff skills and patient needs.
• Mentors assigned staff; participates in performance reviews.
• Leads daily leadership rounding and resolves patient care concerns.
• Escalates significant issues to nursing leadership and ensures service recovery.
