Job summary

The role emphasizes data analysis, presentation of metrics, and mentorship, with standard day shifts and no on-call requirements. Texas license, BSN preferred, and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Texas nursing license (state or compact) and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in cardiology/cath lab or EP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and directs activities between interdisciplinary teams to improve throughput and outcomes.
• Coordinates with lab, radiology, and admissions to ensure timely patient flow.
• Assigns daily tasks based on staff skills and patient needs.
• Leads problem resolution, escalates issues to nursing leadership when needed.
• Mentors and coaches staff; participates in performance reviews and program evaluations.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and Memorial Hermann policies; maintains quality service.
