AdventHealth in Kansas seeks a Registered Nurse for a full-time, day-shift position. You will assess patients, develop care plans with a multidisciplinary team, and provide family education. The role requires RN licensure and BLS, with strong skills in documentation and patient communication.

You will perform nursing duties including IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, specimen collection, and coordinate care transitions for high-risk patients while supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Read/Comprehend written instructions.
• Follow verbal instructions.
• Keyboarding and basic computer use.
• General nursing skills and knowledge.
• Documentation skills in patient records.
• Nursing skills relevant to the specialty (preferred).
• EHR experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competent IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, samples.
• Advocate for patient safety and health rights; educate families.
• Engage patients with motivational interviewing and teach-back.
• Coordinate group visits for high-risk patients and care transitions.
• Support process improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives.
