Position Description:
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Location: 1917 Clinic

The ID Nurse is responsible for provision and management of patient care in a clinical area for specific age and patient populations. The ID Nurse delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Minimum Requirements:
Required: BSN Degree from an accredited school of professional nursing. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an RN.
Preferred: The Ideal candidate will have experience in a fast paced ambulatory setting, administration of chemotherapy and moderate level of familiarity with information technology such as a desk top computer
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:
Current Alabama RN license required. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of employment. ACLS and/or PALS certification may be required based upon clinic need. If required, must be obtained within six (6) months of employment. Preferred: HIV/AIDS certification.
