Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates is seeking an experienced Outpatient Family Practice Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate and deliver primary care in our outpatient clinic. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a focus on education and safety.

The role involves direct patient care, supervising LPNs and medical assistants, collaborating with physicians and APPs, documenting care, and guiding care plans for preventive and chronic disease management.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Active BLS certification through AHA required.
• Prior nursing experience preferred for independent clinic integration.
• Outpatient primary care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Title:

Outpatient Family Practice Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Family Practice Registered Nurse (RN) to prescribe, coordinate, and deliver high-quality primary care nursing within our outpatient medical clinic. Utilizing the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, and evaluate), the Office Nurse independently manages patient care plans, administers prescribed medications and treatments, and provides clinical leadership to Medical Assistants and LPNs. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative primary care team environment and is committed to patient education, health promotion, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Patient Care: Perform clinical intake assessments, evaluate patient needs, administer prescribed medications/vaccinations, and execute treatment interventions.
• Clinical Supervision & Delegation: Direct, teach, and supervise LPNs and Medical Assistants in performing delegated clinical duties.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with primary care physicians and advanced practice providers to manage acute and chronic patient care plans.
• Patient Education & Advocacy: Educate patients and families on disease management, preventive care, and wellness strategies while advocating for patient needs.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed, and prompt medical records in compliance with clinical protocols and privacy regulations.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive Pay: Midpoint compensation starting around $39.00 / hour (commensurate with experience).

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Licensure & Certifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License [Required].
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) [Required].
• Experience:
  • Prior nursing experience [Required] (experienced nurses preferred for independent clinic integration).
  • Outpatient primary care or family practice experience [Preferred].
• Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and outpatient equipment; outstanding patient education and clinical documentation skills.
