Description:This facility is a Level III Trauma Center with a comprehensive stroke center designation.It has 933 beds and a Level III NICU.The department is staffed 24/7 and supports a variety of adult patients.Common procedures performed include kyphoplasty, central line placements, and coil embolization.Experience with AAA interventions is preferred.Neuro interventional radiology experience is required, including management of strokes and embolizations.The average number of patients seen in a day is around 40-50.The role involves administering sedation, monitoring patients, and charting.Support staff includes coordinators, lead techs, and a 24/7 respiratory therapy team.Emergency medical records utilized are EPIC.Familiarity with Siemens and GE equipment is preferred.Travelers will have a weekend rotation that includes call shifts.Call for weekdays is once a week, and weekend call is every 5th or 6th weekend.Response time for call is expected within 30 minutes.There are no holiday expectations currently, but this is subject to change.Scrub color is provided.This role requires experience with complex cases including bleeds, TIPS, Y-90, carotid stenting, and strokes.
