Interventional Radiology RN Position
Shift Details
4x10 hour shifts, 0730-1800 weekdays, with on-call every 5th weekend. No call back minimum.
Orientation occurs every other week on Thursdays.
Orientation schedule: The first two days are classroom-based, followed by unit-based orientation.
Shift timing: 4x10 hour shifts from 0730 to 1600 on weekdays.
Patient Population and Staffing
Adults and geriatrics with a 1:1 staffing ratio.
Experience and Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience required.
- First-time travelers are welcome but must have Interventional Radiology experience.
- On-call every 5th weekend; no call back minimum.
- Call rotation details to be discussed during the interview.
- Potential float to General Lab CDL.
- Blocked schedules will not be accommodated.
- 100-mile radius rule applies (75-99 miles require facility approval).
- Submissions with pending license accepted, but active Adult RDCS license required to start assignment.
- No return-to-office restrictions; must be included in profile at submission.
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS.
Special Procedures and Patient Diagnoses
- Procedures include Angiogram, Fistulogram, Permacath, EVAR, TCAR, TAVR, MitraClip, Mechanical Thrombectomy, and Embolization.
- Common patient diagnoses: CKD, CAD, PAD, PVD, Stenosis, AAA, Stroke, and Aneurysm.
Submission Guidelines
- Permanent employees cannot return as travelers for 2 years after their last permanent day worked.
- Flu shot is mandatory unless medically exempt with documented allergy; flu season is October 1st through March 31st. Not required outside this period.
- COVID-19 vaccine is not required.
