Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma City is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This full-time role features a 3x12-hour shift schedule totaling 36 hours per week, in a dynamic OR with emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

Education: nursing program graduate; RN license (state or compact) and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program with RN eligibility.
• 1 year of critical-care or OR experience preferred.

• Collaborate with surgeons and staff to ensure patient safety.
• Uphold patient safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

• Preferred experience: 1 year of critical-care or OR experience.

• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift

• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
