Mercy in Springfield, MO is seeking an experienced RN for NICU/PICU coverage. You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care and coordinate with multiple departments.

Must have at least 2 years in NICU/PICU and be able to float to related units; dayshift 7am–7pm, full-time with weekend/holiday rotation. New grads are not considered.

Competenze

• Must have at least 2 years RN experience in Neonatal ICU or Pediatric ICU.
• Will float to Pediatric ICU, Pediatrics and NICU 5A Mother Baby, 5B Woman's Surgical, Pediatric ED, and Pediatric Outpatient Services.
• Dayshift 7a-7p; Full time only; Will rotate weekends/holidays.
• Experienced Nurses only- No new graduates.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA or course within 30 days of hire.
• Physical: lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing/walking; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, squat.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements/demands:
  • Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
  • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
