Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Kansas.
• Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes, reporting significant findings.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Educate residents and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Ensure a safe, clean environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
