Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a Charge Nurse to provide direct nursing care to youth and oversee the Nursing Department at the assigned campus. The role includes supervising LPN and RN staff, training new personnel, and acting as a medical liaison with treatment teams.

Responsibilities also include compiling reports, maintaining EMR documentation, and supporting crisis interventions as needed. A current RN license and pediatric/psychiatric experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with state licensure is required.
• RN supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience in pediatric or psychiatric settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to youth.
• Oversee daily functioning of Nursing Department at the campus.
• Supervise, evaluate, and counsel LPN/RN staff.
• Train new Nursing Department employees.
• Serve as medical liaison with outside consultants and treatment teams.
• Submit weekly and monthly reports to the Nurse Manager.
• Complete daily documentation in the EMR system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
