Qualifications

• RN licensure required with current status.
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Leadership experience in an acute care unit is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope, ensuring patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Assess patient conditions to determine venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Monitor nursing staff performance and provide feedback and evaluations.
• Foster professional growth by organizing training and mentoring staff.
• Resolve conflicts among staff to maintain a positive work environment.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and efficiency.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Mentor and precept new staff with hands-on training and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies.
