The role emphasizes leadership of unit staff, patient education, and collaboration with the healthcare team. An associate's degree in nursing is required, with a BSN preferred; RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• RN licensure is required.
• 1+ year of charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule 7p-7a.
• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and ensure patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy and adjust care plans as needed.
• Assess patient conditions to determine venous access methods and manage complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding.
