Job summary

AdventHealth seeks an experienced RN to perform venous access and infusion therapy within the RN scope, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical standards. You will develop care plans, educate patients, and mentor staff while supporting unit-level quality improvements and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (RN) with BLS CPR and prefer a Bachelor’s for growth.

Qualifications

• Lead unit in delivery of patient care.
• Drive performance improvement initiatives on the unit.
• Think critically about unit operations and patient care delivery.
• Manage the business aspects of healthcare on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapies.
• Assess conditions to determine venous access methods.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback.
• Mentor and precept new staff.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives.
