Job summary

Vibra Healthcare, LLC. is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift in Rotan, TX. The role requires coordinating and delivering comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process and ensuring care aligns with the Nurse Practice Act.

You will lead the nursing team, participate in interdisciplinary care planning, and provide patient and family education to support optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of nursing care using the nursing process for the individual patient.
• Provide direct care and supervise nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
• Coordinate nursing unit activities related to patient care.
• Educate patients and families as needed.

Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating the delivery of nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of the individual patient. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Responsible for coordinating nursing unit activities related to patient care. Participates in patient and family education as needed. Provides leadership and clinical guidance by working with and supporting the nursing staff and other ancillary personnel. Participates in the interdisciplinary review process for patients, incorporating the information into the plan of care and the education plan for the assigned patients.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required.
• Current ACLS certification from an approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.
• One (1) year of medical/surgical hospital experience required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Two (2) years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Critical care experience preferred.
• Previous Charge Nurse/Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
