Job summary

Vibra Healthcare, LLC. is seeking a responsible Registered Nurse for FT night shifts. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering nursing care through the nursing process, with supervision of nursing staff on the unit.

The position requires a valid RN license, BLS certification, and ACLS within six months, plus at least one year of medical/surgical hospital experience. Strong clinical leadership and ability to work with a multidisciplinary team are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).

• Coordinate nursing unit activities related to patient care and participate in education plans.
• Provide leadership and clinical guidance to nursing staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating the delivery of nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of the individual patient. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Responsible for coordinating nursing unit activities related to patient care. Participates in patient and family education as needed. Provides leadership and clinical guidance by working with and supporting the nursing staff and other ancillary personnel. Participates in the interdisciplinary review process for patients, incorporating the information into the plan of care and the education plan for the assigned patients.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required.
• Current ACLS certification from an approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.
• One (1) year of medical/surgical hospital experience required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Two (2) years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Critical care experience preferred.
• Previous Charge Nurse/Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
