Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN Charge Nurse for the Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry unit on a full-time Day shift. The role directs daily unit activities, leads an interdisciplinary team, and ensures safe, high-quality patient care while coordinating staffing and clinical governance.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Georgia (or a multi-state compact), with ACLS/BLS certifications and previous telemetry experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia or multi-state compact.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or to be obtained.
• Experience in acute care cardiac telemetry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily unit activities on the assigned shift.
• Coordinate staff scheduling and bed flow to ensure patient care continuity.
• Round with physicians and provide leadership to the team.
• Ensure safe patient care and compliance with standards of practice.
• Lead quality and performance improvement efforts and share governance.
