Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN Clinical Charge Nurse to direct daily unit activities on the night shift in Georgia. This leadership role ensures safe, high-quality patient care and coordinates with nurse managers and a multidisciplinary staff in a shared governance framework.

You must be a licensed registered nurse, demonstrate teamwork and professional practice, and guide others in evidence-based standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Georgia with a valid nursing license.
• Experience in hospital nursing and patient care.
• Knowledge of clinical best practices and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Rounds on every patient daily to evaluate quality and appropriateness of patient care.
• Provides or oversees the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based practice.
• Leads staff scheduling, unit patient flow, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure safe, quality patient care.
