Bond Health in New York is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse to lead a care team in a state-of-the-art nursing and rehab facility. This role covers all shifts and focuses on delivering high-quality resident care using the nursing process.

You will collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team, monitor patient conditions, and supervise staff while ensuring accurate documentation and timely medication administration. Weekly pay is provided to support ongoing staffing needs.

Formación

• Licensed RN in NY.
• Experience in long-term care facility preferred.
• Proficient with EMR systems.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage individualized resident care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve residents' problems.
• Monitor residents' conditions and administer medications and treatments.
• Supervise assigned nursing staff.
• Complete frequent observations and intake/outtake records per protocol.
• Perform related duties as required.

Job description:

As a charge nurse you will be responsible for:
Managing the individualized resident care by promoting and monitoring residents' health through the nursing process.
Utilizes clinical resources in implementing patient care and provides rationale for patient care decisions.
Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve all residents' problems and needs
Providing physical and psychological support to patients and their family members
Monitoring residents' conditions and administering medication & treatments
Supervising assigned team members.
Completes Frequent Observations and the Intake/Outtake Record according to established protocols.
Performs related duties, as required.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NY
• Past experience working in a Long Term Care Nursing Facility
• Knowledge of EMR systems
• BCLS, ACLS or PALS, required.
• Excellent communication skills
