Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Charge Nurse in a Nursing and Rehab Facility in New York. The role covers shifts including 8- and 12-hour options, emphasizing resident-focused care and team leadership.

You will work with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, supervise staff, and ensure accurate documentation and medication administration while supporting residents and families through care plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in NY
• Past experience in a Long Term Care Nursing Facility
• Knowledge of EMR systems
• BCLS, ACLS or PALS required
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage individualized resident care by promoting and monitoring health through the nursing process.
• Utilize clinical resources to implement patient care and provide rationale for decisions.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to resolve residents' problems and needs.
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families.
• Monitor residents' conditions and administer medications and treatments.
• Supervise assigned team members.
• Complete intake/outtake recordings according to protocols.
• Perform related duties as required.

• Utilizes clinical resources in implementing patient care and provides rationale for patient care decisions.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve all residents' problems and needs
• Providing physical and psychological support to patients and their family members
• Monitoring residents' conditions and administering medication & treatments
• Supervising assigned team members.
• Completes frequent observations and the Intake/Outtake record according to established protocols.
• Performs related duties, as required.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NY
• Past experience working in a Long Term Care Nursing Facility
• Knowledge of EMR systems
• BCLS, ACLS or PALS, required.
