Job summary

Glenwood Health Center by Harborview is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our faith-based facility in Decatur, GA. You will supervise CNAs under the Director of Nursing and collaborate with the IDT to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.

You will ensure timely assessments, facilitate physician rounds, and manage nursing documentation while delivering care in accordance with facility policies and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNAs under the Director of Nursing.
• Collaborate with the IDT to plan and evaluate individualized care.
• Ensure timely completion of baseline and periodic assessments.
• Prepare for physician rounds and document concerns for review.
• Initiate referrals based on resident needs.
• Perform administrative nursing tasks and documentation.
• Deliver nursing care per policy and standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse

What You Will Do

• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) under the direction of the Director of Nursing

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans

• Ensure initial baseline and periodic comprehensive assessments are completed on time

• Prepare for and facilitate physician rounds by flagging concerns and preparing documentation for review

• Initiate consultations or referrals as appropriate based on resident needs

• Perform administrative tasks including medical documentation, evaluations, and reports

• Deliver nursing care within scope of practice and aligned with facility policy and clinical standards

• Monitor residents for changes in condition (e.g., confusion, fever, breathing difficulty, pain, appetite changes, mobility loss) and notify providers as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing

What You Must Have

• Active RN license in good standing in the state of practice.

• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required—we’ll invest in the right heart and mindset.
