Job summary

Baxter Health in Mountain Home, AR seeks an experienced RN Nurse Manager for the Central Sterile Department. You will develop, supervise and coordinate sterile processing, equipment, and materials management across OR and hospital systems.

Responsibilities include staffing, schedules, in-service training, inventory control, instrument maintenance and regulatory compliance, with strong emphasis on teamwork and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ADN required. BSN or MSN preferred.
• Licensure: Current Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in the operating room setting required. Previous supervisory experience in operating room setting preferred.
• Certifications: Current BLS. CNOR and/or CSSM preferred. Maintains certification as CRCST or CSPDT, CHL, CIS, CST or CER.
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Develop, supervise and coordinate the Central Sterile Department.
• Plan, organize and provide materials management, billing, and sterile processing services for the OR/hospital system departments.
• Oversee inventory control: ordering of instruments and supplies, instrument maintenance: care, processing and repair.
• Implement staffing patterns, work schedules, and provides ongoing in-service to staff.
• Manage operations of the Central Sterile Processing Department on all shifts.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and effective communication across departments.
• Hold team members accountable for service excellence through performance, quality and behavior standards.
