NorthShore University HealthSystem's Elmhurst Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for the Central Resource Team on a full-time night shift. The role covers a 36-hour work week (7pm–7:30am) and focuses on delivering professional nursing care within the Illinois RN Act and hospital policies.

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

What you will do

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. Employ critical thinking skills, assess patients’ condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor patients’ progress, record pertinent observations, delegate appropriate tasks, and work as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by unit or shift.

What you will need

• Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing
• Required Education, Skills and/or Experience: 1+ years' RN experience in an inpatient unit setting
• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing. If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.
• Required License and/or Certification: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure; Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association or Basic Life Support); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within one year of start date.
