The ideal candidate holds RN licensure and BSN, with certification within 3 years, and at least five years of acute hospital experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required and BSN preferred.
• Certification in area of specialty required within 3 years of hire.
• Five years acute hospital experience with CDI or coding background.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong assessment and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate documentation modifications to reflect services and support proper coding and reimbursement.
• Complete reviews using CDMP guidelines and collaborate with physicians and staff.
• Educate internal customers on compliant documentation and reimbursement processes.
• Update CDMP worksheets and assist with CDMPTrak reporting.
• Promote teamwork, continuous education, and performance improvement initiatives.
