Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking an experienced RN for the Telemetry unit who provides compassionate patient care across the care journey. Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within the last year preferred.

• Provide general and specialized direct and indirect patient care.
• Perform admission assessments.
• Assess and document patient's pain levels using appropriate protocols.
• Prioritize and document patient problems based on assessed needs.
• Monitor and document patient's condition and effectiveness of care.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Delegate components of the nursing care plan to other nursing team members.
• Plan delivery of patient care in collaboration with other disciplines.

What You'll Do

• Assess and document patient's pain levels utilizing appropriate protocols.
• Prioritize and document patient problems based on assessed needs.
• Monitor and document patient's condition and effectiveness of care.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Delegate components of the nursing care plan to other nursing team members.
• Plan delivery of patient care in collaboration with other disciplines.

Requirements

• Education:
  • Completion of a recognized course of study from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program)
• Experience:
  • 2 years of recent experience in acute care areas utilizing telemetry monitoring
• Licences & Certifications:
  • Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification within the last year preferred
