Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Port Saint Lucie, FL, is seeking an RN CCFSR - Critical Care to deliver exceptional patient care in demanding units. You will perform admission assessments, document pain levels, and collaborate with the care team to plan and discharge.

Required: Nursing degree (Diploma/ADN/BSN), 2 years CCU experience, active RN license, BLS, ACLS/ALS, NIH Stroke Scale within the last year. Per Diem schedule, day shifts, on-site at Tradition Hospital.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• 2 years of recent Critical Care experience.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• ACLS or ALS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• NIH Stroke Scale completed within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care through nursing practice procedures.
• Perform accurate admission assessments within defined periods.
• Assess and document patient pain levels using appropriate protocols.
• Prioritize and document problems with patient, family, and health care team.
• Establish and implement plans of care in collaboration with other disciplines that promote wellness and facilitate discharge.
• Monitor and document patient’s condition and effectiveness and timeliness of care and/or interventions.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to achieve planned outcomes.
