Job summary

SCA Health in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Cath Lab Circulator to provide safe patient care and ensure smooth procedural flow. You will scrub, circulate and assist with PACU, pacemaker, vascular, cardiac and IR procedures within a fast-paced cath lab environment.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing degree, current RN license with BLS, and 5 years CVL/ED/PACU experience. ACLS preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license with State Licensure; BLS required. ACLS preferred, must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of 5 years of continuous catheterization lab, ED, or PACU experience.
• Able to monitor, scrub, and/or circulate on cath lab procedures including pacemaker, vascular, cardiac, IR and pain management.
• Strong communication and English proficiency for patient and team interaction.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to ensure patient safety.
• Directs and assists in aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Perform CVL circulator and recovery nursing duties.
• Ensure Cath Lab is prepared for patient and procedure.
• Assist in transporting patient to Cath Lab and pre-op prep verification.
• Verify appropriate surgical prep and complete CVL documentation.
• Position patient safely and assist with counts and instrument setup.
• Provide emergency equipment readiness and support teammates, physicians and families.
