Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab assignment in Towson, MD. The role involves fast-paced cath lab procedures, on-call coverage, and rotating weekday/weekend shifts.

You will monitor procedural sedation, manage IVs, and support complex interventions such as TAVR, Watchman, and other cath lab activities with relevant experience in GE Innova IGS, EPIC, IVUS, and FFR.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• 2 years of recent Cath Lab/Interventional scrubbing experience
• BLS, ACLS certifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor procedural sedation and manage IVs.
• Intervene in dysrhythmias and catheterization procedures.
• Provide support for complex Cath Lab cases and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Participate in on-call coverage; weekends/holidays as scheduled.

• First-time travelers accepted

Description:The Cath Lab RN will work in a fast-paced environment.On-call coverage is required, with up to 13 weekdays and 3 weekends.Weekend and holiday coverage, including on-call, is mandatory based on the schedule.The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.Common procedures performed include IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, Structural, PFO, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman.Experience with GE Innova IGS, Phillips, GE MacLab, EPIC, IVUS, and FFR is preferred.The RN will be responsible for monitoring procedural sedation and managing IVs.Skills required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, cardiac interventions, and catheterizations.Candidates should be comfortable floating within the scope of practice.Special scheduling requests should be submitted at the time of application.
