Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab in New York. The unit includes 2 Cath Labs and 1 EP Lab, with day shifts and 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Required: active RN license, ACLS and EKG training, and a minimum of 2 years in the cath lab. Must be able to scrub and work in a fast-paced environment as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes RN, RCIS, RT, CVT, a Clinical Nurse Coordinator and a Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of cardiac procedures including pacemakers, ablations, Watchman, and cryoablation.

• Coordinate with RN, RCIS, RT, CVT, and management as needed.
• Maintain documentation and ensure patient safety.

Description:Must be able and willing to scrub.The unit includes 2 Cath Labs and 1 EP Lab.Staffing consists of a combination of RN, RCIS, RT, CVT, 1 department assistant, 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, and 1 Manager.Patient ratios are typically 1:1 with 3 staff per room for all procedures except VT Ablation, which has 4 staff.Type of equipment includes GE and ESI.The documentation system used is Meditech and MacLab.Call requirements involve working four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.Typical procedures performed include all types of pacemakers, ablations, Watchman procedures, and cryoablation.Successful candidates should possess the ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.Dress code consists of facility-provided scrubs in designated colors.
