Description:RN - Cath Lab position available in a community-based hospital.The facility has 351 licensed beds and serves a diverse patient population.The average patient load ranges from 5-15 cases per day.Candidates for this position must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care or Cath lab.Candidates with experience as a Cardiac Cath Tech must also have 2 years of relevant experience.First-time travelers will not be accepted for this position.Patients commonly diagnosed include those requiring Impella, IVUS, OCT, IABP, and RFR.Required certifications include BLS and ACLS for RN positions, and additional certifications like ARRT-R or equivalent or RCIS for Cardiac Cath Tech roles are necessary.Candidates must have scrub and documentation skills, along with knowledge of vascular cases.A three-person call team provides support within the department.The department utilizes EPIC for EMR and includes specific equipment like Hemosystem Hemodynamic Monitoring.The work environment is fast-paced and focused on high acuity cases.
