Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN for the Cath Lab in a community hospital setting in North Carolina. The role requires 2 years of critical care or cath lab experience, RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and the ability to scrub and document in EPIC EMR.

The 13-week assignment is day shift, with 10-hour shifts, in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment performing STEMI cases and complex vascular procedures. First-time travelers are not accepted; experienced cath lab RNs are eligible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of critical care or Cath Lab experience.
• RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Knowledge of dysrhythmias, moderate sedation, and high acuity STEMI cases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cath Lab for cardiovascular procedures.
• Scrub and document in EPIC EMR with accuracy.
• Support high-acuity STEMI and vascular cases.
• Maintain patient safety and adherence to Cath Lab protocols.

Description:RN - Cath Lab position available in a community-based hospital.The facility has 351 licensed beds and serves a diverse patient population.The average patient load ranges from 5-15 cases per day.Candidates for this position must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care or Cath lab.Candidates with experience as a Cardiac Cath Tech must also have 2 years of relevant experience.First-time travelers will not be accepted for this position.Patients commonly diagnosed include those requiring Impella, IVUS, OCT, IABP, and RFR.Required certifications include BLS and ACLS for RN positions, and additional certifications like ARRT-R or equivalent or RCIS for Cardiac Cath Tech roles are necessary.Candidates must have scrub and documentation skills, along with knowledge of vascular cases.A three-person call team provides support within the department.The department utilizes EPIC for EMR and includes specific equipment like Hemosystem Hemodynamic Monitoring.The work environment is fast-paced and focused on high acuity cases.
