Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Nurse to join the invasive lab team in Royal Oak. The role provides professional nursing care within a multidisciplinary environment, covering Pre/Intra/Post Lab phases and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

A BSN or higher is preferred, with a current MI RN license and relevant acute care experience. The position is full-time with day shift hours, supporting a Magnet-designated center and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's degree or equivalent.
• BSN/MSN/DNP or PhD preferred; new grads may enroll in BSN program within 1 year and complete within 5 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience; Critical Care/Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Michigan; BLS/ACLS certifications required within specified timeframes.

Scope of Work

The Cath Lab Nurse, under the ANA scope of practice, utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Cath Lab Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to Beaumont policies and procedures. Working within a multidisplinary team environment demonstrates specialized care within the cath lab and across the cath lab care continuum (Pre/Intra/Post Lab) while using critical thinking and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree Graduate of accredited school of nursing with an Associate's degree or equivalent.
• Required Bachelor's Degree B.S.N., or M.S.N., or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years required. This is effective April 18, 2023.
• 1 year of relevant experience Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience. Required
• Critical Care, Cath Lab, or Procedural/OR experience. Preferred
• LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-Specialty Certification - UNKNOWN Unknown in specialty 2 Yrs required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
• CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association 180 Days required
