Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a registered nurse to manage medical and disability claims in a hybrid office setting. You will apply clinical expertise to optimize outcomes, coordinate care, and return-to-work plans for injured employees.

The role requires an active RN license, 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, and BSN preferred. Familiarity with state/federal health care laws and CCN/CRRN/COHN certifications is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the base state and other required states.
• Minimum 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience; orthopedic/ED/ICU/home care or rehab preferred.
• Degree from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• Knowledge of state, local, and federal health care laws.
• Professional certifications such as CCM/COHN/CRRN where WC law requires.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload of medical/disability cases under clinical guidance to optimize outcomes.
• Communicate with injured employees, medical professionals, and field staff to coordinate care and RTW plans.
• Apply the Nursing Process to facilitate return-to-work and ensure compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
• Utilize internal/external resources to achieve best case outcomes and escalate complex issues.
