The role requires an active Illinois RN license and at least one year of RN experience, plus CPR certification. The position offers a full-time schedule, weekday hours, and on-call requirements in the Southside Chicago area.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of operation.
• A minimum of one year of experience as an RN.
• Current CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess nursing needs and manage patient care plans from admission to discharge.
• Complete initial patient assessment at admission with history.
• Select appropriate nursing diagnoses.
• Evaluate medicines for potential adverse reactions or contraindications.
• Set realistic, measurable goals aligned with diagnosis.
• Inform physician of assessments and interventions.
• Implement nursing interventions within Nurse Practice Act.
• Re-evaluate patient needs as required.
• Document assessments, progress, and discharge notes timely.
• Inform physician of changes in patient condition.
