Job summary

The Valley Health System seeks a Registered Nurse for Utilization Review and Case Management in Las Vegas. You will lead discharge planning and coordinate with patients, families and the healthcare team to optimize outcomes and reimbursement.

Strong clinical background and knowledge of UR/UM are essential. Two years in UR/UM or Case Management plus three years of varied clinical experience, plus Nevada RN license, are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in varied clinical settings.
• Two years in Utilization Review or Case Management preferred.
• Knowledge of social and physical factors affecting discharge and post-discharge resources.
• Proficiency with documentation and data collection systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish safe, individualized discharge plans and provide proficient utilization management to maximize reimbursement.
• Collaborate with patient, family and healthcare team to achieve quality outcomes.
