Job summary

South Texas Health System Edinburg is seeking an RN Case Manager to oversee resource utilization, coordinate care, and support discharge planning for patients. The role includes participation in denial management when needed and ensuring adherence to policies and the Code of Conduct.

Weekend/evening/on-call work may be required. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Current Texas RN license required; BSN preferred; hospital-based RN experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• 1 year acute care RN experience required.
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish).
• Health Care Coordination experience preferred.
• Compliance with all policies and the Code of Conduct is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage resource utilization and clinical outcomes for patients.
• Coordinate discharge planning and related denial management activities.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence and compliance with policies.
• May work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and/or on-call status.
