Job summary

Research Medical Center is seeking an RN Manager of Case Management to oversee a clinical team and the social services function, driving efficient patient throughput and care coordination. The role reports to the department leadership and collaborates with clinicians to meet regulatory standards.

The position requires RN licensure (or equivalent) with several years of leadership in case management and a strong focus on performance improvement and budget participation.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in case management or social services.
• Ability to lead clinical teams and coordinate care processes.
• Experience with regulatory standards and survey readiness (e.g., TJC).
• Budget oversight and financial planning for a unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for day-to-day department activities (education, staffing, productivity, scheduling).
• Oversee case management, utilization review, and discharge planning responsibilities.
• Collaborate with clinicians to design processes ensuring regulatory compliance and survey readiness.
• Assist the director with unit budgeting and financial management.
• Ensure quality patient care through data analysis and performance improvement initiatives.
