Job summary

Beechtree Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing seeks an RN Cart Nurse for all shifts in New York. Responsibilities include patient care via the nursing process, performing treatments, documentation in the medical record, supporting the CNA team, and administering medications with proper reporting.

Requirements: NY RN license, CPR certification, and nursing home or hospital experience are a plus. Position options include full-time, part-time, or per diem with 8-hour shifts and potential

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Perform treatments and provide support to patients and families; supervise assigned team members.
• Ensure concise, complete resident care documentation in the computerized medical record.
• Support the CNA team and ensure CNA documentation is accurate and complete.
• Administer medications and relay reports per departmental protocols.

RN Cart Nurse Position

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care & Service. Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process
• Perform various treatment procedures; provide physical, educational, and emotional support topatients, friends, and families; supervise assigned team members
• Documentation. Ensure concise, pertinent, and complete resident care documentation usingcomputerized medical record process
• Supports CNA team. Direct the CNA in the timely completion of quality individualized personal careand ensure CNA documentation is accurate and complete
• Medication Administration & Reporting. Administer medication and give/receive relevant reports,both written and verbal from/to appropriate staff as per departmental protocols

RN Requirements Include:

• Current and valid NY RN License
• Experience in a Nursing Home or Hospital is a plus
• Valid CPR Certification
