Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license in states served by the division (multi-state license may be required).
• Minimum 3 years’ related clinical experience in an acute care setting (ED or Critical Care preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs transfer center functions with centralized patient placement.
• Coordinates transfer of emergent, urgent and elective patients to final destination facilities.
• Facilitates patient throughput and provides follow-up to all participants of the transfer.
• Maintains accurate data in patient records and center workflow systems.
• Communicates effectively with referring facilities, physicians and hospital staff.
